Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort is seeking a Dock Attendant to join our marina team in Fort Lauderdale. You will greet guests, assist with vessel tie-ups, check-ins, and provide concierge-style service for residents, club members, and hotel guests.

Your duties include safety-focused marina patrols, assisting with fuel procedures, pumping out vessels, and coordinating deliveries. The role requires English communication, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the ability to operate golf carts.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to operate golf carts
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license
• Must have the ability to communicate in English effectively

Responsibilities

• Guest-facing position that provides a warm welcome to guests
• Ties up vessels upon arrival to the marina
• Checks guests in to the marina and responds to guest needs during their stay
• Provides onsite customer service for residence, club members, transient marina guests, and hotel guests
• Answers guests’ questions about the property or surrounding area attractions
• Fuels vessels acting as PIC; contains and cleans up any fuel spills that occur during fueling
• Attends annual fuel training
• Accepts packages or arranges deliveries to marina guests
• Drives golf cart in tight areas
• Provides pump-out to guests in the marina
• Patrols the docks, maintains safety standards, and stays in radio contact with the office
• Cast off lines for departing boats and notify the office of departure
• Maintain and control ice inventory on each wharf, sell ice to customers, and notify the office when supply is low
• Perform all other duties as assigned
