Job summary

Mountain Engineering in the Marin area seeks an experienced Vegetation Program Lead to manage vegetation management operations, oversee contractor work, and ensure compliance with safety standards and PG&E practices.

The role requires leadership in hazardous tree removal, emergency response readiness, and supervision of project teams, coordinating with PG&E representatives to align program direction and execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years of job-related experience with at least one year in a leadership role.
• Two years of experience in emergency response and/or hazard tree removal projects along utility rights of way.
• Familiarity with PG&E vegetation management practices and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads vegetation management operations and outside contractor work performance.
• Solves moderate to highly complex problems and guides project plans and goals.
• Leads project teams to complete required tasks.
• Provides lead duties for emergency response per safety requirements and regulations.
• Manages contractor activities and coordination of VM efforts with PG&E representatives.
