Job summary

Margaritaville at Sea is hiring a Shorex Associate to support the Shore Excursion Manager in delivering guest service and efficient sales for all tours on and off the ship. You will assist guests with booking excursions, provide detailed information, handle issues, promote onboard activities, and work toward revenue targets.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, guest-focused, sales-driven, and a strong team player.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous ship experience is preferred.
• Good level of English language.
• Ship experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell all available shore excursions to maximize revenue.
• Provide accurate and detailed information to guests regarding tour offerings.
• Proactively upsell and upgrade tours during guest interactions.
• Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
• Handle and resolve guest complaints and refund requests professionally.
• Dispatch excursions shoreside in conjunction with local tour operators.
• Maintain clear communication with tour operators regarding guest counts and service requirements.
• Assign escorts and guides for excursions, and serve as a translator or representative when needed.
