Prolific is seeking fluent Marathi speakers to act as AI evaluators. You will listen to AI-generated audio, compare text and voice, and assess naturalness and authenticity. A fast-paced project, you will help ensure models understand Marathi speech with cultural nuance.

Successful candidates can work from home with flexible hours. Pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, and tasks typically require about one hour of uninterrupted work per assignment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Marathi with natural, everyday use.
• Ability to distinguish subtle differences in accent, tone and delivery.
• Fluent English for instruction following and reporting.
• Backgrounds in linguistics or translation are a plus.
• Quiet environment and good quality headphones/speakers.

Responsibilities

• Side-by-side evaluation: comparing text and voice snippets for quality and authenticity.
• Naturalness assessment: listen to AI-generated audio and rate naturalness.
• Quality control: identify where tone or pronunciation feels unnatural or mismatched.
• Contextual review: ensure intonation matches cultural context.
• Data tagging: provide feedback on naturalness, tone, and authenticity.
