Job summary

Journey's In Community Living seeks a MAPs Supervisor to lead MAPs Life Skills Technology Coaches and support the MAPs Program Director with operations, compliance, and quality assurance in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities.
• 1+ year of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Valid Class D Tennessee Driver License.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to complete MAPs, Medication Administration, Relias, and other training.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and objective in challenging situations.
• Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, train, mentor, and support MAPs Life Skills Technology Coaches.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, staff meetings, field observations, and performance coaching.
• Monitor staff documentation, service delivery, timelines, trackers, and program compliance.
• Review participant records, case notes, assessments, and milestone documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance regarding participant needs, staffing concerns, corrective actions, and service quality.
• Respond to staff call-outs and assist with coverage for vacations, vacancies, and other staffing needs.
• Attend required participant, program, and state MAPs meetings and communicate relevant information to staff.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, budgeting, billing, audits, and quality improvement.
• Maintain a small caseload and perform MAPs Life Skills Technology Coach responsibilities as needed.
• Complete required documentation and participant services accurately and on time.
• Maintain all required certifications and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-time | Exempt | 40 hours/week | Reports to MAPs Program Director

Work Environment

This is a community-based position requiring travel and both in-person and virtual services. The position may require sitting, standing, walking, driving, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting participants with activities of daily living.

A flexible schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on program needs.

Employment requires a successful background check, applicable security clearance, TB screening/assessment, and completion of all required training and certifications.
