You will own the team's short- and long-term strategy, collaborate across teams, participate in design and code reviews, and mentor engineers to deliver scalable, robust systems that serve millions of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience at Principal IC level.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience with backend services in high-volume, low-latency environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to support and grow two core backend services powering Apple Maps and related apps.
• Define the team's short-term and long-term strategy and technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and participate in design and code reviews to deliver high-quality scalable services.
