Job summary

Charles River Center seeks a Residential Registered Nurse / MAP Coordinator in Needham, MA to ensure high-quality, compliant healthcare in the Residential Department. You will lead MAP training, manage MOR documentation, and supervise nursing policies aligned with DDS/DPH rules.

You will perform audits, support staff development, and coordinate health plans with providers, driving continuous improvement and regulatory adherence across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; MAP teaching certification preferred within six months
• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in healthcare or school settings
• Experience with developmentally disabled individuals, nursing homes, or DDS/DPH regulations preferred
• Completion of all state and agency trainings
• Knowledge of Normalization and Community Inclusion
• Ability to authorize CORI/background checks
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Develop, interpret, and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures related to medical/nursing record keeping
• Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
• Conduct audits of healthcare records and develop documentation tools
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans
• Monitor implementation of health plans through auditing and documentation
• Compile compliance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Conduct interdisciplinary HealthCare Oversight Committee meetings
• Provide MAP certification training and exam preparation
• Manage MOR reporting and retraining according to agency policies
• Facilitate additional medical trainings as assigned
• Oversee MAP trainings and procedures ensuring compliance with regulations
• Coordinate healthcare equipment and supplies
