Job summary

Safe-Way Door is seeking a warehouse/stock associate to ensure proper track and spring assemblies are built as scheduled, stock and replenish daily, and coordinate with purchasing on outages. The role emphasizes attention to detail and fabrication experience.

You will support order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safe equipment use, including forklifts and hand tools, in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position requiring consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to use industrial equipment, carts, pallets, and all other equipment related to loading/shipment of garage doors, hardware, and other assemblies.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.

Responsibilities

• Complete all pickup and route schedules as per the schedule and place them in the designated area.
• Communicate with purchasing department on any and all potential outages or shortages.
• Communicate all back orders or shortages with Customer Service promptly.
• Participate in physical inventory, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment safely to perform material handling functions.
• Keep the area stocked and orderly for picking and completing all tasks daily.
• Other duties may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Complete all sub-entries when needed due to stock or specific builds.

• Complete all pickup and route schedules as per the schedule and place them in the designated area.

• Communicate with purchasing department on any and all potential outages or shortages.

• Communicate all back orders or shortages with Customer Service promptly.

• Participate in physical inventory, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.

• Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment, including but not limited to box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, forklifts, drills, saws, etc., safely, and efficiently as required to perform material handling functions.

• Keep the area stocked and orderly for picking and completing all tasks daily.

• Other duties may be assigned.
