Job summary

Safeway Garage Doors, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to ensure correct track and spring assemblies are built as ordered and to maintain daily stocking and replenishment activities.

The role requires fabrication experience and careful handling of various hand tools and equipment. The candidate will participate in physical inventories, communicate shortages to Purchasing and Customer Service, and keep the workspace stocked and orderly for efficient picking.

Responsibilities

• Complete all sub-entries when needed due to stock or specific builds.
• Complete all pickup and route schedules as per the schedule and place them in the designated area.
• Communicate with purchasing department on any and all potential outages or shortages.
• Communicate all back orders or shortages with Customer Service promptly.
• Participate in physical inventory, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment, including but not limited to box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, forklifts, drills, saws, etc., safely, and efficiently as required to perform material handling functions.
• Keep the area stocked and orderly for picking and completing all tasks daily.
• Other duties may be assigned.
