Job summary

Filtration Group in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Global Filter Value Stream Leader to oversee manufacturing for process filtration products. You will champion safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding operators and coordinating with supervisors to meet daily production goals.

You will train technicians, push for continuous improvement, and foster a collaborative, results-driven culture focused on quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading comprehension to interpret work orders and instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must maintain cleanliness and quality standards in a high-purity production setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead point of contact for supporting Production Technicians with production activities and equipment operation to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency of outcomes.
• Train and coach Production Technicians on best manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to achieve Global Filter’s goals, objectives, and operational standards.
• Lead by example through daily activities focused on continuously improving quality, productivity, team cohesion, and building strong culture with a positive attitude.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors to ensure production activities are prioritized daily.
• Ensure priority, expedited requests are completed and delivered to the shipping department within appropriate timeline.
