Job summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a seasoned operations leader for onsite role in MA. The position emphasizes delivering production commitments, deploying operations strategies, and managing capital and overhead budgets in a defense manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience across operations, engineering, and supply chain, with strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with Raytheon systems and EVMS. Base salary range is provided.

What You Will Do

• Overall execution to delivery commitments for production
• Deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement in a safe environment
• Overall responsibility for financial metrics including unit hour performance and overhead budgets
• Workforce planning and forecasting
• Area layout and flow management
• Capital identification and control of overhead expenses
• Ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures
• Capital project execution

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and/or Production Control.
• Strong management skills in a manufacturing defense industry and ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations.
• High computer literacy and confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS) and EVMS Certified.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
