Job summary

Carrier is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead large-scale manufacturing transformation and industrialization initiatives at the Charlotte facility. You will plan, execute, and deliver complex capital and manufacturing projects to launch new products, expand capacity, and improve efficiency across operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong electrical and mechanical engineering with robust project management, working with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and project management within an industrial environment.
• 1+ years of experience leading factory transformations, capital projects, equipment installations, or industrialization initiatives.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, production systems, and facility infrastructure.
• 3+ years of proven success managing project budgets, schedules, external contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple large-scale capital and operational transformation projects with scopes, schedules, budgets and risk assessments.
• Lead installation, startup, commissioning, and validation of manufacturing equipment and lines; support facility modifications and automation deployment.
• Provide mechanical and electrical engineering leadership for equipment and production systems and collaborate with suppliers and contractors.
