Job summary

Dura-Line in Gainesville, TX, is seeking a Technical Learning Specialist to oversee plant-level learning activities and employee training. You will deliver, facilitate, evaluate, and document training, mentoring staff in process behaviors to support growth and plant readiness.

Role involves creating content, reviewing instructions, and using multiple training methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on sessions, to advance workforce skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in education/trainer/instructor in manufacturing or related fields.
• High School diploma or GED plus formal training certifications.
• Knowledge of plastic extrusion and packaging reels is a plus.
• Proficient in creating detailed work instructions for training.
• Experience with ISO 9000 or TL9000 and audits.
• Strong videography software knowledge and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-the-job training (OJT) and mentoring.
• Create and update training content and materials.
• Review and optimize work instructions for processes.
• Lead varied training methods for different employees.
• Deliver lectures, hands-on sessions, demonstrations, and job shadowing.
