Job summary

South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB seeks a dedicated Operations Trainer to develop and deliver training for hourly and management staff. The role drives new-hire onboarding, safety, and product quality-focused education, and evaluates training effectiveness with management.

Qualifications include a minimum of two years in manufacturing or training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment and/or training background.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.
• Bi‑lingual candidates preferred and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees in production and classroom settings during the first 90 days.
• Monitor progress, motivate, and ensure above-average proficiency.
• Maintain and submitt training records and data entry for audits.
• Work with managers to inform on training program status and outcomes.
• Identify training gaps and document action plans with management.
