Job summary

Hitachi Energy in South Boston, Virginia is seeking a Training & Development Leader to shape learning across our manufacturing environment. You will design and lead programs to enhance employee capability, engagement, and performance, partnering with Operations, HR, and leaders to align training with business goals.

Key responsibilities include onboarding enhancement, KPI tracking, and maintaining training systems using adult learning principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience designing and delivering training programs.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of lean management systems and continuous improvement principles.
• Certifications CPTD/CLDP/CPLP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee training and development programs to enhance performance and engagement.
• Partner with Operations, HR, and leadership to identify and implement learning improvements.
• Enhance onboarding programs for new employee experience.
• Develop and analyze training KPIs to measure effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Manage training systems and learning resources.
• Develop training materials and support trainers using adult learning methodologies.
• Evaluate current training practices and propose innovative solutions.
