Job summary

Victaulic in West Jordan, Utah, is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer to own the full training lifecycle for our production workforce: assessing skill gaps, designing and delivering hands-on training for welders and machine operators, and building structured documentation and learning materials that stick.

You'll partner with instructional designers to produce SOPs and visual aids, and collaborate with shop staff to promote ongoing development and safety across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills; able to work independently and stay detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assess skill gaps and identify training needs for production staff.
• Design and deliver hands-on training for welders, machine operators, and coating processes.
• Develop structured process documentation and learning materials with instructional designers.
• Create and deliver SOPs and visual job aids to support long-term workforce development.
• Track and measure trainee progress and training effectiveness.
