Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Manufacturing Floor Trainer for our Utah facility in West Jordan. You will provide hands-on instruction to help employees build skills in machine operation, welding, and coating processes on the shop floor.

The role requires a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and strong coaching abilities. You will work independently, ensure safety and PPE use, and coordinate with the Training team to monitor certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/steel fabrication environment.
• Working knowledge of arc welding processes for carbon, stainless, and alloy metals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Hands-on coaching and demonstration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on training for operators on production machinery and assembly.
• Train on plasma cutting, grooving machines and assembly processes.
• Provide forklift and crane operation instruction and maintain certifications.
• Coach employees on safe work practices and PPE use on the shop floor.
• Escalate safety, quality, or training concerns promptly.
