Job summary
Supermicro is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to design and implement system manufacturing test software for Server, IoT, Workstation, or Rack products.
You will lead projects, provide technical guidance, and support development initiatives across engineering, validation, and production teams.
Daily collaboration with our Taiwan team will align goals and advance manufacturing test solutions for high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/CE from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of hands-on software design experience for server management software and testing.
- Proficiency in Linux programming using shell, Python and/or Golang; CursorAI IDE.
- Strong communication and teamwork across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Linux tools, SVN and GitLab.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design system manufacturing test software to diagnose assembly defects.
- Provide direct technical support to production line personnel to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with design, PM, validation, and production teams for product quality.
- Stay at the forefront of server technologies and develop advanced testing features.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure reliability before shipping.
- Collaborate daily with our Taiwan development team to align on goals.
