Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team for functional testing of incoming PCBA products, implementing Engineering Change Orders, and related model conversion tasks. You will oversee daily quality control, isolate defective PCBA units, prepare reports, and collaborate with the QA team to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related field.
1-2 years of practical experience in electronics industry.
Proficient with oscilloscopes and multimeters for hardware failure analysis.
Ability to read schematics and understand basic electronic design.
Strong Linux command-line skills for system- and board-level analysis.
Hands-on knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and soldering.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Assist capacity and resource planning for production lines within schedule and budget.
Analyze workforce utilization, space and tooling; design efficient layouts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing capabilities and schedules.
Apply lean manufacturing tools to improve material and information flow.
Estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs for decisions.
Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and implementation.
