Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering to build and lead a team focused on developing and deploying manufacturing test equipment, software, and data systems for our advanced energy storage production.

The ideal candidate will bridge software development, instrumentation integration, and on-floor deployment, collaborating with Product Development, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, MES, and Operations to enable scalable test solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience developing automated test systems in manufacturing, product development, or industrial environments.
5+ years building and managing a team of manufacturing test engineers.
Experience with programming languages such as LabVIEW, Python, C#, C++, Go, or similar.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a team of world class manufacturing test engineers to deploy manufacturing test equipment for our assembly processes.
Design and maintain scalable test software, intuitive GUIs, and operator workflows for cell, module, and pack-level manufacturing.
Develop, deploy, and validate production test equipment, fixtures, PLCs, and instrumentation architectures for new product introductions.
Lead root-cause investigations and resolve complex hardware, software, and process failures during commissioning and production ramps.
Create technical documentation including test procedures and troubleshooting guides.
