Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Manager of Factory Test Engineering & Validation to build, lead, and scale our factory validation lab. You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for lab-scale cells, product cells, and battery modules spanning End-of-Line Quality, Manufacturing Validation, and Ongoing Reliability Testing.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring an exceptional hardware test leader who can build teams, commission complex test stands, establish SOPs, and convert lab data into

Qualifications

• Experience leading hardware test labs and validation programs.
• Proven ability to stand up new test infrastructure and SOPs.
• Hands-on systems engineering across mechanical, electrical, and data collection domains.
• Strong focus on uptime, throughput, and traceability.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Reliability, and Manufacturing teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a lab validation team across test execution and teardown.
• Commission new test stands and environmental chambers.
• Increase throughput and uptime, resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure data integrity and traceability for manufacturing control.
• Drive safety and continuous improvement in the lab.
• Collaborate with Quality, Reliability, and Manufacturing teams.
