Qualifikationen

• BS or MS in mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering discipline.
• Up to 25% international travel is required.

Aufgaben

• Design for Testability - provide early and ongoing manufacturing involvement to ensure testing is logical and cost effective.
• Product Life Cycle Engineering - work all phases from concept to production with respect to testing methods and failure analysis.
• Lead the optimization of test solutions to enhance quality and operational efficiency in production.
• Test Process Engineering - design and develop technical test processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Utilize statistical tools (GR&R, SPC and Cp/CpK) to ensure scalable processes/fixtures.
• Failure/Data Analysis - plan, develop and implement procedures for testing and evaluation of upcoming products;DOE included.
• Improve product quality and cost by closing test gaps across the supply chain.
• Develop new/improved processes via theoretical and practical engineering.
• Provide direction to vendors/CMs; act as technical leader on owned projects.
• Drive failure analysis and machine issue resolution with testers and contract manufacturers.
• Prepare and present concise Test Engineering program status updates to Exec weekly.
