Job summary

Celestica is seeking an Engineer, Test Manufacturing in Richardson, TX to join the Manufacturing Engineering team. The role involves defining and optimizing automatic test equipment and test programs used for product testing and verification, with collaboration across Quality and Process teams to enhance yield and efficiency.

The Test Engineer will lead test process improvements, analyze yield data, and support integration of test equipment with MES systems.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have hands-on experience with test process and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with data interpretation from yield reports or test logs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, specify, qualify, install, support and optimize test process and test equipment solutions for manufacturing.
• Lead test process optimization focusing on productivity to improve cycle time and yield.
• Debug test process and equipment solutions using DOE, tools, and failure analysis methodologies.
• Collaborate with Quality, Process and Equipment engineers to solve yield and performance issues.
• Develop roadmaps for test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, and test time reductions.
