Job summary

Amazon is seeking a System Development Engineer, Mfg Bring Up and Test, to drive manufacturing test excellence across global server and rack production. You will own end-to-end test strategy and work with contract manufacturers to ensure production readiness before ramp.

The role requires leading test automation, DFТ reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams to optimize tests and yield.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, system validation, or production test development.
• Experience with server- or rack-level hardware testing in data center/ODM/contract sites.
• Experience deploying in Linux/Unix and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manufacturing test strategy from design through production ramp.
• Develop test strategies for board-, server-, and rack-level validation across subsystems.
• Architect and deploy test infrastructure and automation at factory sites.
• Lead failure triage and yield improvement during NPI.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external manufacturers on readiness.
