Plexus Corp. is seeking a Test Intern in Lincolnshire, IL. You will work on Automated Functional Test Equipment, programming software, and Hipot test equipment, developing test programs used in manufacturing. You will collaborate with the team leader, engineers, and technicians to implement effective test solutions.

The role emphasizes learning through exposure to specifications, schematics, and manuals, with opportunities to grow technical and analytical abilities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field for the duration of internship.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support development and sustainability of test and inspection programs for one or multiple platforms.
• Assist in creating training materials and operator instructions for equipment use.
• Help operators and technicians troubleshoot and debug test equipment and software.
• Assist continuous improvement through data monitoring of yields and cost-down opportunities.
• Coordinate with planners and supervisors to align with production priorities.
• Assist with test/program acceptance and calibration of equipment.
• Record and report test results accurately from specifications and manuals.
