Job summary

Plexus is seeking a Test Intern to work on Automated Functional Test Equipment, programming software, and Hipot Test Equipment in our manufacturing environment. You will develop assembly-specific test programs used in production and collaborate with the team leader, engineers, and technicians.

Qualifications include pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, junior status, GPA 3.0+ preferred, and strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Junior level status.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and sustainment of test and inspection programs for one or multiple manufacturing test platforms.
• Support the development of training materials and assembly build instructions for operators or technicians.
• Assist manufacturing teams with troubleshooting and debugging test equipment and software; help root-cause failures.
• Support continuous improvement through data monitoring of yields and cost-down opportunities.
• Collaborate with planners and supervisors to support production schedule priorities.
• Lead test/program acceptance and calibration activities.
• Lead preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Record and compile test results from procedures.
