Qualifications

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand 8 hours daily.
• Experience operating lift trucks/material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run pumps, agitators, shakers, scales, and viscosity equipment safely.

• Move and lift gallon stock, drums, and totes.
• Follow process instructions and monitor equipment.
• Filter product by loading/charging FSI filters and traps.
• Label containers per process, customer, and DOT requirements.
• Perform auditing.
• Execute selective maintenance and equipment switches.
• Operate computer-controlled equipment.
• Follow site/SOPs and assist in training others.

• Perform daily scale calibrations
• Maintain housekeeping and participate in area cleanup
• Wash tanks, pumps, piping, and loading equipment
• Load/charge tanks with capacities from 5 to 500 gallons
• Move and lift gallon stock, drums, and totes
• Follow established process instructions and documentation while monitoring equipment
• Filter product by loading/charging FSI filters and traps
• Label containers according to established process, customer, and DOT requirements
• Perform auditing
• Perform selective maintenance tasks and equipment switch-outs to keep processes running
• Operate computer-controlled equipment
• Follow site, area, and Standard Operating Procedures guidelines
• Assist in training other employees

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• At least 3 years' experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Good computer skills
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week, including occasional weekday and weekend overtime
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; and draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram instructions
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment
• Comfortable working with hazardous materials while using proper PPE
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Previous experience operating lift trucks/material handling preferred
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours per day
• Ability to repetitively climb ladders/stairs, bend, stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, reach above shoulders, and turn wrench/valve handles
