Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a maintenance technician in Johnson City, TN to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems. You will implement upgrades, participate in design and fabrication of systems, and perform regular preventive maintenance to uphold quality and reliability.

The role requires PLC experience, CNC/robotic/mold handling skills, and a safety-first mindset in a GMP/QSR environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
Three to five years of related field experience.
Experience with PLCs (programmable logic controllers).
Experience with CNC, robotic pick and place, injection mold and compression mold is a plus.
Machine shop experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots/repairs and adjusts pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, mechanical equipment and components.
Conducts and documents tests on systems and equipment to determine compliance, reliability and to identify potential problem areas.
Installs hardware and software upgrades to process or support equipment as part of projects.
Performs as a member of a team to design, fabricate, assemble, operate and test systems and equipment to ensure quality and reliability.
Performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
Supports company goals, policies, procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations.
Works independently to complete work assignments with minimal supervision.
Establishes and maintains a safe work environment for all employees.
