Job summary

ATI is hiring a Manufacturing Associate in the Conditioning department at our Bakers facility in Monroe, NC. You will perform a variety of conditioning tasks, ensuring materials meet customer specifications and preparing billets and other products for next steps.

Responsibilities include operating band saw and grinder, inspecting with non-destructive methods, maintaining records, and supporting shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety programs and quality standards, including proper documentation.
• Operate band saw and grinder according to procedures, cutting billets and other materials to specifications.
• Perform non-destructive testing and inspection duties on high-temperature alloys and maintain required records.
• Polish billets and bars to required surface finish and prepare for inspection or shipment.
• Assist in shipping and receiving, plan packing and ensure proper documentation prior to shipment.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and monitor equipment for proper operation.
