Job summary

Graphics Microsystems, Inc. in Norcross, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support the assembly of mechanical and electrical components in our systems.

The role involves building cable assemblies, electrical connectors, bracketry, camera systems, and actuator assemblies, with occasional shipping duties. You'll collaborate with our team to meet production goals, communicate with customers about shipments, and learn GMI's processes to handle simple requests independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent reading ability, can understand complex technical documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proactive.
• Can lift 30 pounds over head.
• Comfortable with a small-company environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components (cable assemblies, electrical connectors, bracketry, camera systems, actuator systems).
• Handle picking and shipping of spare parts.
• Coordinate shipments with customers and identify the correct spare parts.
• Support from GMI's technical service team, work independently over time.
• Occasional travel (typical 2–5 days) may be required; not regular.
• Grow into additional responsibilities and potential pay increases.
