Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician Level I to join a manufacturing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will assemble products according to standard work instructions and prints, operate and set up production equipment/fixtures as needed, and contribute to workmanship, safety and productivity.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years of mechanical assembly experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years previous mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, supervisors, or engineers.
• Ability to add and subtract multi-digit numbers (including decimals); to multiply and divide; to find averages, percentages and ranges. Ability to determine the minimum, maximum and nominal value when provided with a specification and a tolerance. Ability to perform basic math on a calculator.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to report quality issues. Ability to suggest simple process improvements.

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Assembly Technician Level I to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a team player, and have a passion for quality workmanship which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Assembly Technician I

Location: Peachtree Corners, GA

Shift: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm (Mon - Fri) ; 3rd shift 11:00PM - 7:30AM (Sun-Thurs)

Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.40/hr
