Job Description

The Manufacturing Associate, located in Norcross GA, will focus on the manufacture of the mechanical and electrical components in GMI's systems. This job will have high work diversity. The majority of the work will be assembly, including of cable assemblies, electrical connectors, bracketry, camera systems, and actuator systems. This role will also handle picking and shipping of spare parts. A high level of communication with customers will be involved in this role. For example, to coordinate shipments, or to identify the correct spare part needed by a customer. GMI's technical service team will support as needed, but it is expected for this employee to become familiar with GMI's systems and processes to be able to handle simple customer requests independently. This job does not anticipate travelling to customers being a regular required part of work. However, willingness to occasionally take on trips (typically 2-5 days in length) is viewed as a plus. GMI is a small company, and as such additional responsibilities may from time-to-time or on a permanent basis by assigned to the Manufacturing Associate. We value employees that are able and willing to handle multiple areas of responsibility. Growing and learning to handle more complex work may enable increases in pay without an official change of role. This position will be trained by our expert and experienced employees. After training is completed, a high degree of autonomy is expected and desired. The Manufacturing Associate will be expected to cooperate with management in setting reasonable production goals. If assistance or oversight is needed, it will be available and should be sought pro-actively.

• Successful candidates will likely be offered between $40k-$60k / yr salary.
• Any company-required travel expenses are reimbursed, including a generous per-diem for meals.
