Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preference for electronics or computer-related education/certification.
• Experience with computer systems; building or repairing computers preferred.
• Experience with computer networking.
• Ability to analyze and interpret test data.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test, and repair computers, servo power units, and spectrophotometer probe heads.
• Set up network communications for the systems.
• Interpret testing data to ensure performance.
• Travel to customer sites for repairs or site surveys (10–20% travel; 2–5 day trips).
• Collaborate with management to set reasonable production goals and assume multiple responsibilities as needed.
