Job summary

Dowding Industries, Inc. seeks a skilled machinist to operate CNC equipment and support manufacturing processes. The role requires reading basic blueprints, performing measurements with calipers and micrometers, and maintaining tool and machine condition on a fast-paced shop floor.

You will contribute to achieving 85% OEE, document daily production, and collaborate with a safety-conscious team in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic blueprint reading skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain various tools and machinery.
• Meet or exceed production requirements targeting 85% OEE.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
• Complete quality, manufacturing O.E.E., and tracking paperwork.
• Work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Coordinate training and breaks to minimize production interruption.
