Job summary

Dowding Industries, Inc. seeks a skilled manufacturing operator to run CNC milling, laser cutting, and related equipment in a fast-paced shop. You will read blueprints, monitor quality, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

This full-time role requires attention to safety, teamwork, and the ability to handle heavy parts up to 50lbs, with overtime as needed and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
• Basic computer skills and math for shop tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain various tools and machinery.
• Meet or exceed production requirements targeting 85% OEE.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase production and reduce scrap.
• Demonstrate basic machine shop mathematics and blue print reading.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete quality, OEEs, and tracking paperwork.
