Job summary

Nortech Systems, a leading provider of engineering and manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II in Minnesota to support quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement on the production floor. The role requires detail-oriented, mechanically inclined individuals with multi-operator training.

The pay range is $22.12 - $25.69 per hour, with offer factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in manufacturing or related technical discipline.
• Mathematics knowledge including basic calculations, fractions, and measuring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions including engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using manufacturing machines and equipment for setup, testing, calibration, and maintenance.
• Experience with electronic devices and computing systems, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Fully cross-trained and proficient in three or more manufacturing operations with quality and inspection responsibilities.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate assigned machines and equipment per documented procedures.
• Follow instructions, read diagrams and BOMs, and interpret technical specifications.
• Develop knowledge of components, subassemblies, finished goods, test fixturing, and software.
• Perform regular maintenance on work area equipment per procedures.
• Monitor machining operations and output with precision tools to ensure conformity to specs.
