Job summary

Nortech Systems, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II in Minnesota to support high-precision manufacturing of electromedical and electromechanical products on the production floor.

The role focuses on setup, calibration, machine operation, inspection, and continuous improvement. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, six months of related experience, and basic math skills. Competitive pay and strong benefits accompany this on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent certification in a manufacturing or related technical discipline.
• Mathematics knowledge including basic calculations, fractions, and measuring.
• Six months’ experience: reading and interpreting engineering drawings/specifications, operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, and using manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate assigned machines to make or modify products per procedures.
• Follow instructions, read BOMs, prints, schematics, and test specs to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor machining operations with precision measuring tools and resolve issues with team.
• Test electronic assemblies according to procedures and document results.
• Assist with developing work instructions, training documents and process improvements.
• Train less experienced technicians and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Write and review ECOs, ECRs, and ADRs and update related instructions.
