Job summary

Nortech Systems Inc in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to support quality, efficiency and continuous improvement on the production floor.

This role requires attention to detail and mechanical aptitude; you will set up and operate machines, read technical specs, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to meet standards. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent certification in manufacturing or related technical discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Six months’ experience using manufacturing machines and equipment, including operation, testing, calibration, and basic maintenance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate assigned machines to make or modify products per procedures.
• Read and interpret data from BOMs, prints, schematics, and test specifications.
• Monitor machining operations with precision measuring tools and resolution of issues with team.
• Assist with developing work instructions, procedures, and training documents.
• Perform time standard evaluations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
