Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a manufacturing technician to support set-up, calibration, rework and quality testing across the production of parts and assemblies. The role requires collaboration with engineers to develop methods that control or improve processes, and involves hands-on work in a busy manufacturing environment.

The position is onsite in Minneapolis with five days per week in the office. Candidates should have an AA degree or equivalent and related manufacturing experience;

Qualifications

• 1 year with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.
• 3 years of related manufacturing and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with High Vacuum systems.
• Experience with Cryo Pumps.

Responsibilities

• Observes and complies with safety rules and regulations (including QSE and ISO standards) and demonstrates basic safety principles.
• Participates in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process and follows quality requirements.
• Performs routine equipment setup and maintenance, and completes basic corrective, preventive and calibration tasks.
• Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.
• Collaborates with technicians and engineers on process improvements.
