Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Concord, California, to support production by maintaining and programming manufacturing equipment, materials and processes. The role aims to ensure on-time delivery while meeting customer quality standards and production goals.

You will assist in testing new equipment, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with engineers and leadership to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing product
• Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators
• Troubleshoots operator problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements
• Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leader
• Assists in the testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes
• Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis
• Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas
• Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities
• Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
