Job Description

About the Role:

As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will implement all processes in production while strictly following cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any applicable related regulations. You will have technical and administrative competence to organize and lead production activities. Responsibilities include assisting with the movement of Flexbumin through inspection to packaging within the value stream. You may act as line lead, ensuring smooth operation and meeting daily goals. You will document activities on routers or in the electronic batch management system (EBM). You will report to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.

How You Will Contribute

• Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams
• Support manufacturing operations
• Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks
• Operate general production equipment (such as DAP lines, forklifts, and hoists)
• Move pallets within the value stream
• Communicate and work cross-functionally with other departments
• Receive and distribute supplies into the production area
• Follow cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and other regulations
• Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines
• Perform daily cleaning of the production area
• Review and revise documentation as appropriate
• Train new and existing employees/contractors on procedures
• Report safety, quality, compliance, and equipment issues
• Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
• Follow detailed written and oral instructions in English
• Possess knowledge of cGMP manufacturing
• Be a self-starter with a positive attitude and good time management
• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Meet production deadlines during shifts
• Follow safety and quality guidelines

What You Bring To Takeda

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years’ experience, or AA or higher with 1+ years of related work experience
• Ability to work in cold, wet environments
• May work around chemicals requiring respiratory protection

Important Considerations

• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods over a 12-hour shift
• Work in controlled environments and wear protective clothing
• May work in confined spaces or require immunizations

Compensation and Benefits

Location: USA - IL - Round Lake - Drug Delivery

Hourly Wage Range: $18.85 - $29.62, depending on experience and qualifications.
