Job Description

About the role:

As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will implement all processes in production while strictly following cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any applicable related regulations. You will have the technical and administrative competence to organize and lead production activities. You will participate in departmental projects and quality teams as applicable. Responsibilities include assisting with the movement of Flexbumin through inspection to packaging within the value stream. You may serve as a line lead, ensuring smooth operations and meeting daily goals. You will document your activities on routers or in the electronic batch management system (EBM). You will report to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.

How You Will Contribute

• Maintain a safe and quality working environment
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams
• Support manufacturing operations
• Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks
• Operate general production equipment (e.g., Downstream Automated Packaging lines, forklifts, hoists)
• Move pallets within the value stream
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments
• Manage supplies within the production area
• Follow cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and other regulations
• Complete paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines
• Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards
• Train employees and contractors on procedures
• Report safety, quality, compliance, and equipment issues to supervisors

What You Bring To Takeda

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience, or AA degree with 1+ years of related work experience
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, following instructions)
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing
• Ability to meet deadlines during shifts

Important Considerations

• May wear PPE and clean room garments daily, including safety shoes, glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, gowns, hair nets, gloves, and hearing protection
• Must remove makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial nails in the manufacturing environment
• Work in cold, wet environments
• Work multiple shifts, including weekends, and possibly additional hours
• Work around chemicals requiring respiratory protection

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive pay, with an hourly range of $18.85 - $29.62, based on experience and location. U.S. employees may be eligible for incentives, insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and well-being benefits.
