Job Description

Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of Client product development and manufacturing. Assignments may include but are not limited to: set up and running of data acquisition equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

1. Performs work from detailed instructions and maintains daily production output with accurate records of the work performed and other records as may be required by management.
2. As required, with guidance, provide data for formal reports (oral and written) of the work. Also, prepare and submit, with guidance, appropriate disclosure letters of patentable ideas when a contribution has been made and evaluated by the supervisor.
3. Limited decision making, related to the scope of the specific task with guidance.
4. Mainly performing production work and may be dependent upon others for non-standard work. Slightly more than minimum flexibility and adaptability expected.
5. Complies with all EHS, Training and Quality procedures and policies.
6. Under supervision, performs routine experiments. Adjust variables as directed and take specified data.
7. From detailed instructions, set up or modify equipment, calibrate, perform maintenance and operate equipment (mainly routine tests & manufacturing operations).
8. Under supervision, performs routine troubleshooting of process or equipment. Brings equipment irregularities to the attention of the supervisor.
9. Use Lean tools to improve established processes and metrics in daily work. Participates in Action Workouts.
10. Make acquired skills or knowledge available to others; train others on manufacturing processes.
11. Updates OMS as needed.
12. Executes Tool Qualifications and may help develop test scripts for tool qualifications.

1. Aware of and comply with the Client Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
4. Training: Aware of and comply with Client training requirements.
5. Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming & rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specification.
6. Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices, as associated with this job type/position.

Required Qualifications

1. A High School diploma (or local equivalent) and 1 or more years technical experience.
2. Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
3. Demonstrated ability to work well with general direction and information.
4. Able to troubleshoot and problem solve independently.
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
6. Works well in a team environment.
