Job Description

Individuals will be responsible for troubleshooting and conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products. They will work with a variety of new and customer-owned fielded equipment, requiring intermediate troubleshooting skills, including troubleshooting circuit board failures to component level. Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and ensure they meet company standards and objectives.

Essential Functions

1. Conduct tests on RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products.
2. Use various test equipment, log information in technical databases, and understand engineering schematics.
3. Apply intermediate troubleshooting skills.
4. Document materials used and repairs completed.
5. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/AA Degree with 2 years prior experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory; technical discipline degree preferred.
• Experience with Electronics / RF or Digital Troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with L3Harris RFCD products and assembly processes.
• Ability to document problems and repairs accurately within RMA tracking systems.
• Proficiency in performing LabVIEW driven automated tests.
• Experience with test equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers.
• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong customer focus and ability to interface with external customers.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.

The salary range for this role in New York State is $23.08-$42.79, with benefits including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Final offers depend on experience and location.
