Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the day shift (7a–7p) on a full-time basis. The role trains you to operate high-speed bindery equipment, work on a fast-paced production floor, and contribute to producing books and catalogs with attention to quality.

No bindery experience is required; training will be provided. You’ll join a team focused on reliability, safety, and meeting daily goals with overtime opportunities and full-time benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Pride in doing quality work.
• Reliable and able to work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up to run a perfect binder.
• Keep binder running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Physical & Work Environment:

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
