Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate in finishing/bindery on a nighttime shift (7p–7a). No bindery experience required—we will train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine to run finishing/binding processes.
• Pack books into cartons after production.
• Safely move materials and finished products to and from the workstation.
• Perform hand operations as needed to support production.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.

What You’ll Do

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

We’re Looking For People Who

• Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem‑solving skills.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a Plus If You Have

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience.
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment.

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast‑paced, team‑oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
