Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to operate production equipment in the Florist operations at the Glendale, WI plant. This 12-hour day shift role emphasizes safe operation, standard work adherence, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will weigh materials, handle hazardous substances with PPE, and support lean initiatives while maintaining production quality and meeting goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and computer skills (Email, MS Office, G Suite).
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 100% of shift.
• Ability to read a micrometer accurately within 0.0005”.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and mix raw materials following batch instructions.
• Work with hazardous materials using controls and PPE.
• Learn and contribute to Lean/5S/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Set up, operate, maintain and clean production equipment.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting daily/weekly goals.
• Follow established standard work documents.
