Job summary

Intrepid Control Systems in Troy, Michigan is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to build and test advanced hardware used in automotive tech. You will perform functional tests, assemble electronic products, and run burn-in tests to ensure reliability.

Collaboration with production, engineering, and QA teams is essential as you document results and help improve product quality. The role requires attention to detail and comfort with diagnostic software in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Functional Testing of completed units: verify performance of Ethernet ports, CAN/LIN interfaces, USB, LEDs, and other key features using diagnostic tools and software.
• Final Assembly of electronic products: install printed circuit boards into protective enclosures, attach connectors and labeling.
• Burn-in Testing: execute stress tests to validate hardware reliability.
• Documentation: log test results, report defects, and provide feedback to engineering and production teams to improve product quality.
• Collaboration: work with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to support smooth product flow.

• Functional Testing of completed units: verifying performance of Ethernet ports, CAN/LIN interfaces, USB, LEDs, and other key features using diagnostic tools and software.
• Final Assembly of electronic products: installing printed circuit boards into protective enclosures, attaching connectors, membranes, labeling, and preparing for final testing.
• Burn-in Testing: executing stress tests to validate hardware reliability and robustness. Documentation: logging test results, reporting defects, and providing feedback to engineering and production teams to improve product quality continuously.
