Job summary

Job description

SUMMARY

Perform production welding, assembly, basic machining and other manufacturing processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load & unload CNC cylinder head porting machines
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and machining finish to ensure product meets or exceeds quality standards
• Pressure test cylinder heads
• Wash and prep heads for assembly
• Perform assembly, welding, and packaging operations of various products
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Manage supplies and equipment, including performing preventive maintenance and cleaning of assigned machinery, equipment, and work areas
• Assist manufacturing personnel in machining, cleaning, inspecting, assembly, and any other duties as assigned in a team environment
• Communicate and cooperate with the supervisor and all other members of the team to improve the operation in all areas including efficiency, productivity, and supply costs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Automotive Technology, Automotive High Performance, or equivalent Automotive Machine Shop Training
• Engine performance and rebuilding experience is a plus
• 2 years of experience in automotive machining is a plus
• Must have experience with measuring and gauging equipment

SHIFT

Monday - Friday, 1 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
