Job summary

Summit Racing Equipment in Tallmadge, Ohio, seeks a dedicated maintenance technician for 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm). The role focuses on performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or Technical School Training, with additional certifications being a plus. This position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose problems related to the safe operation of all equipment and systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all conveyor, machinery, and equipment.
• Complete all assigned work orders timely utilizing the facilities work order system.
• Maintain the serviceability of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain the overall appearance of our facilities both inside and outside.
• Maintain safe entrances during winter months by controlling snow and ice conditions.
• Work independently and in a team based on the needs of the work order.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all conveyor, machinery, equipment, and material handling as directed.
• Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner utilizing the facilities work order system/CMMS.
• Maintain the serviceability of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas throughout our facilities.
• Maintain the overall appearance of our facilities both inside and outside.
• Maintain safe entrances for all during winter months by controlling snow and ice conditions.
• Have ability to work independently and in a team based on the needs of the work order.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.
